The Art of Hospitality

Being a parent can be described as the ultimate act of hospitality. From a mother nourishing a growing child in her womb to countless feedings, swaddling, bathing, and even entertaining, it’s an around-the-clock practice.

Our desire is for the client to experience the same warmth and hospitality at our centers that she ultimately extends as a new mom.

Covering our centers in prayer, keeping our centers comfortable, and showing each client the truth in respect are ways that she can experience God’s presence in the midst of her anxieties.

So many clients sit on our couches wrestling with their decision to abort because she feels shut out. Her boyfriend or parent pressures her to choose between abortion or abandonment.

She lingers on the ledge because she feels she has no other option than to fall into the darkness alone. But your financial gifts build a haven to make a thoughtful decision. A place where she can confide, find resources, and share her burdens. A place where she can hear God’s truth and see her child for the first time on the ultrasound screen.

More often than you would think, a haven is all she needs to find the courage to seek the truth and protect her unborn baby. Her child is no longer an unwelcome guest, but the greatest opportunity she may ever have to love another person.

We are incredibly grateful to you for providing that important place for her! May God’s presence continue to embrace those who enter so that lives will be saved!

“Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.” - Romans 8: 12-12-13
