Frequently Asked Questions
What's needed to become a volunteer at Hope?
All potential volunteers are vetted with a volunteer application. The application goes into your background and asks for references. We also like to get the chance to talk with you over the phone or in person to hear more about you and how you can share your gifts with this ministry.
What's expected of a volunteer?
Volunteers uphold a statement of faith and code of conduct. For roles interfacing with clients, there is a minimum requirement of four-hour shifts once a week.
I'm not able to give my time on a weekly basis. What else can I do?
That's okay! There are still ways you can invest your time and talents to further the mission of HOPE. Read on our Get Involved page to learn more, or speak with our Program Director, Cindy Crebo.
